How these mock exams work

Each mock exam mirrors the official format: 20 multiple choice or true or false questions, 45 minutes, and the questions come from the same material as the real test, the Discover Canada guide. An exam counts as passed from 16 correct answers out of 20, deliberately stricter than the 15 out of 20 required on test day.

The 33 full exams and the bonus exam are independent and open: take them in order or pick freely, and your best score is kept for each one. Failing an exam never locks anything, retake it until you clear the bar.

How a mock exam differs from the real test

A mock exam mirrors the test's format, not its administrative conditions: no ID check, no invitation letter, and an instant result instead of a wait. Every attempt draws a fresh mix of questions from that exam's question pool, so retaking the same numbered exam does not mean seeing the exact same questions in the same order.

That difference is deliberate: the goal is not to memorize one specific exam, but to practice across the full material until the format itself, the countdown, the four options, the 75% threshold, stops being a surprise on the actual day.

What to do with your result

The score alone is not enough: what actually moves you forward is reviewing every missed question and understanding why the correct answer is correct. If one topic keeps showing up in your mistakes (government, history, geography...), that is the signal to go back to it specifically instead of retaking a full exam at random.

Frequently asked questions

How many times can I retake the same exam? As many as you need. Nothing locks after a failed attempt, and only your best score is kept for each exam.

Do the 33 exams cover the full test material? Yes, all ten chapters of the Discover Canada guide are represented across the different exams, with a fresh mix of questions on every attempt.

Drill that topic with the chapter quizzes, then let smart review bring the missed questions back at the right time. The day your last five mock exams clear the bar, you are ready.
